Tahoe Fire Dancers provide outstanding and unique performances across Lake Tahoe and the greater area. Each performance is personalized to meet the needs and desires of our clients. TFD signature quality and originality is achieved by providing a variety of performers, tools, dance styles, themes and costumes, music, choreography and performance lengths. We provide education in the form of creatin

g and instructing fire dance classes and host numerous workshops and local spin jams. The members of TFD pride themselves on safety and work closely with the local Fire Departments in compliance with NFPA 160 standards and provide on going, free fire safety training for the community. Its roots reach deep below, its trunk stands in the present world, and its branches stretch toward the heavens.
Often called the Axis Mundi, or World Tree, it represents the connection between all realms of existence.

For a moment, an ancient symbol became a living tree.

Introducing the co-produced of our show, Clarity Rising.

Clarity is the artistic director and owner of Tahoe Fire Dancers, a Lake Tahoe performance troupe that has been sharing the art of fire dance since 2006. After taking over leadership of the troupe in 2014, she has helped grow a thriving community of performers through choreography, mentorship, and creative collaboration.

A performer, yoga teacher, and educator, Clarity Rising has spent more than a decade producing and directing fire performances throughout the Tahoe region and beyond. Her work has included performances and productions for SnowGlobe Music Festival, MTV, WinterWonderGrass, HBO, and numerous community events, festivals, and private celebrations. She has also served as a stage manager for FireDrums, supporting one of North America's premier fire arts festivals.

Now in its fourth year, Flames of Aphrodite reflects her passion for mythology, movement, and transformational performance. Through fire, dance, and storytelling, Clarity Rising seeks to create experiences that inspire wonder, celebrate human connection, and bring a little magic into the world.

In her free time, she loves spending time in the meadow by the river with her husband Craig and her dog Bubbles.

Introducing one of our solo acts and the shin of Lucid Flame Conclave Jacob “Scarab” Lilley is a seasoned fire artist with over eleven years of experience, Scarab has performed on stages from MTV and SnowGlobe to Fire Conclave, Meow Wolf, and beyond. His flow is both art and meditation—a dance of transformation that connects, inspires, and awakens the spirit through the beauty of fire.

Introducing our pole performer, Sunbear Claire!

Claire is a pole instructor at Vertical Barre. She is passionate about many forms of aerial and dance including pole, lyra, and swing dancing. During the time she’s not dancing, she’s with her horse and dog somewhere outdoors.

Now to start introducing the producers of our show! First up, we have the incredible Featherpistol of Pole for the Globe. It has been an honor producing this show for the last four years with you, Feather!

Featherpistol started Pole for the Globe in 2017 after performing pole art in cabarets and circuses around the world.  Her vision:  to bring pole dance into the light of day while benefiting the planet and celebrating this majestic art form.  As of this morning, P4TG has donated over $11,000 to earth charities!  Fun facts:  Feather is a terrible cook, a pretty good bowler, and loves taking dance class at MVMNT Studio on Wednesday nights in South Lake Tahoe.

Emma Vaillant is a flow artist, DJ, facilitator, and life coach currently based in South Lake Tahoe, California. With a deep love for expressive flow states, she approaches fire performance as an opportunity to demonstrate her artistry. Her greatest desire in all that she does is to inspire others into their own authentic experience of joy.

Kyra started her journey into the art of pole dance in 2021 after moving across the country, searching for a new avenue of movement after growing up figure skating for 13 years. She fell in love with the sport immediately and even more in love with the welcoming community and undeniable friendships she has made through pole dance. When she's not doing pole, you can find her riding her motorcycle, or adventuring with her loving husband - pretty much monkeying around anywhere she goes.
