❤️ The Pocket Heart Project ❤️
Sometimes the best ideas start with a mistake.
A few months ago, I ordered felt hearts from my supplier for a project. Unfortunately, they sent the wrong size. I reordered them… and somehow ordered the wrong size again! 😆
That left me with hundreds of tiny hearts that weren’t quite right for what I had planned. Since I only have them in one color, I didn’t really want to sell them.
Then I remembered seeing someone hide little hearts along a trail for strangers to find, and I thought, “What if we filled Ocean City with tiny reminders of kindness?”
And just like that, the Pocket Heart Project was born.
This summer, I’ll be hiding Pocket Hearts around Ocean City, and I’ve recruited a few helpers too—including some of my daughter’s friends who live there year-round. ❤️
Each heart is meant to be a small reminder that:
✨ You are loved.
✨ You matter.
✨ There are good people everywhere.
If you’d like to join the project, I’ve placed FREE Pocket Hearts in my booth at Stainton’s. Take a few to hide, give one to a friend, leave one for a stranger, or keep one in your pocket for a day when you need a little encouragement.
Let’s see how much kindness we can spread across Ocean City this summer. (and I’ll be sure to sprinkle some love in your online orders as well!)
