Funny thing about this time of year — your garden's already dressed for the party. Red bee balm going wild for the hummingbirds, white Echinacea wide open, and those blue hydrangeas out front? They're blue because our South Portland soil runs acidic — the plant pulls it right out of the ground and turns it into color. Nobody planned that. The dirt did it.
So go stand out there with a burger and take the credit. You earned it.

Our first round of cold crop veggies are outside and ready to go! We have celery, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage and seven varieties of lettuce for you to choose from. Six packs of veggies are $4.99 - happy planting! 🌱

We’re about a week out from the true start of spring, but things are in full swing around here at Broadway Gardens. We have a restocked selection of rare houseplants including the alocasia venom and the anthurium magnificum. We also have wide array of beautiful succulent arrangements ready to go home with you today! For those of us ready to get outside in the garden we have pansies and spring bulbs ready to plant while we wait for warmer weather.
