What an absolutely beautiful night to be a part of in a little town on Coastal Maine. Hosted by Applecroft and edible MAINE this stunning setting on a lovely September night with incredible food, conversation and friends was such a perfect place. Okay here we go! Whole home renovation kicked off this week on Thompson Lake! This family-owned property for over 50 years needs to change and be ready for the next 50 years. We’re expanding with dormers to add more bedrooms and bathrooms, along gutting the entire interior without losing the retro charm that this family has always loved. Stay tuned for updates as this will be a nine month project that I am so excited to be working on!

When the wallpaper goes in you know you’re nearing the finish line of a project. This lake house project in Maine is a completely new build replacing a small and tired little camp. The team at MEH (Main Eco Homes ) have been killing it on this modern, sort of ‘Scandinavian-style’ designed home for some fabulous clients. They were willing to let me push them a little in the overall style and design as we worked together to create what will be a fun and cozy family home for generations to come. From light fixtures I can’t wait to get up, to all the customization and features we suggested, this house is going to be fantastic. Since the interior paint is all Simply White, wallpaper played a big role in select spaces. Photo 1 is a lovely and elegant guest suite and bathroom. Photo 2 is so fun as the powder room! The super functional laundry in Photo 3 shows the deep green cabinetry and the ‘pine’ wallpaper all over. Photo 4 is the toilet room of their kids’ jack and jill bathroom that needed to have something colorful for teenagers and grownups in the future. The SW Evergreen Fog pairs so well with the oversized pattern of the mural. Every space unique for the person and its usage. Special note- photos 1&3 are the same paper in different colorways from Sandberg Wallpaper that I’ve used on other projects- it’s such a beauty! #207

Summertime has come to a close but so much was packed in. Little sister Lori Lori Desjardins came home for almost 2 months and it was packed. We took in a couple concerts, raced in our first lobster boat races, lots of outdoor time and live music, kittie obedience training 😂, her first Portland Hearts of Pine soccer game, lots and lots of great food and friends; even a trip up to northern Maine and our hometown for her 40th class reunion. That alone is hard to comprehend. Visits to our childhood family lakehouse was more emotional than expected and I so wish we still owned it and it wasn’t so far away. The only thing missing during this time was Caroline Caroline Davis but she’s had her own busy time in London making a commercial for Apartments.com 🙌😁 So goodbye and thank you summer ‘26- it was pretty special. 😘😘😘

I love when a project brings together collaborative and excited clients, a great team at one of my favorite vendors and the best installers when it comes to tile. The selections we decided upon bring a fun and casual feel to this lakeside guest suite. How gorgeous and calming is this space?! When you see your child, now young adult follow their passion and dreams; to work so hard to get there and figure it out along the way; to channel their insight and creativity while showing her humanity and compassion for others, you kind of get emotional and oh so proud. All a parent wants is to see their children do better than they, to experience life to its fullest and to love what they do. Caroline is all these things and at 23, she’s just getting started. So damn proud of you my Sweets- all your friends and coworkers make me smile at how much you all mean to each other- what a beautiful life you’ve started living! And I’ll always be your number one fan 😘🥰❤️
