On this week’s Episode 7 of Driving Miss Daisy🌼, we want to introduce Cecilia Chung, who is the daughter of Daisy's best friend, Dawning Chung. Daisy met Dawning because her along with her parents were loyal customers and would frequently dine in at Moonstar. They celebrated all occasions at our restaurant, eventually befriending all family members and friends. Dawning inspired Daisy in many ways, with one impacting her the most was how she got involved with numerous Non- profits organizations. Whenever there is a need for food, either for business or a donation, Daisy is all in. Daisy doesn't recall a time she turned her down for anything that she requested. Dawning would also volunteer to help out at Moonstar as a hostess for over 16 years to trade for extra food donation to homeless shelters and local churches.
When Daisy met Cecilia, it had never occurred to her that Cecilia is transgender. Daisy would say "She is more woman than myself, I just can’t Imagine her as a male, I really feel she is in where she should be both body and mind."
Over the years Cecilia inspired Daisy and introduced her to a completely different community, the Transgender Community, which led to Non- Profit connections. Daisy feels that Cecilia and her mom shares lots of common ground. They are both eager to help, support the needed, and they both have the heart of giving. Cecilia is doing it in on huge scale, not city, not county, not even state level , she is supporting the needs of the community Nationwide now! She shares her experiences, gets her voice out, and believes for what she stand for. She helps and support others by demonstrating how comfortable she is being a healthy, living success story and the powerful message itself.
We are proud as a friend of Cecilia and Dawning, we love you both!❤️❤️

On this week’s Episode 6 of Driving Miss Daisy🌼, we want to introduce Ms. Dorothy who was an acquaintance until we start working together and became close friends. She served as the chair for Self- Help for the Elderly’s Halloween fundraising event about 7 years ago.
While working with Dorothy, Daisy figured out how full of energy she was, as if she was 25 years old , physically and mentally,
Daisy recalls to a time when she was looking for a trainer to train her at the age of 70th (Rod jumping😦) for a competition, and it shouldn't be a surprise, but she won a medal🏅. During the Covid times with high restrictions, she designed how to run a virtual fundraising gala event for Self-Help. She searched for the lowest cost platform and learned all the details of how to run a virtual event. It gets confusing when she talk starts to talk about live auctions, silent auctions. Dorothy even hosted a virtual happy hour with donors, that even included delivering food and wine to their doorstep. Amazingly, her virtual event ended up raising more money than a live event.
Last month she told Daisy she selected to represent the nation for a Dragonboat🐲 Competition. there is usually only 6-10 selected out of the US.
As Daisy always says that Dorothy makes all mission impossible, not only to possible, but to a reality.
She is a true demonstrator of will power that overcomes age💪, both physical and mental limitations.
A true fighter for life, not only for herself but for her community and what she believes in while buffing her roots. We are forever grateful to have you as a mentor, as well as your friendship.🙏

On this week’s Episode 5 of Driving Miss Daisy, we want to introduce Ms. Josephine Ma. She is a good friend for many years and is the Fund Director for Self- Help for the Elderly.
Our first interaction had been when she asked for lunch boxes for 800 elderly meals to be donated for a Walkathon fund raising event over 20 years ago. That was when Daisy had first been introduced to self- help for the elderly and from then on, Daisy became part of self- help for the elderly family as being a support partner for all their food needs. In 2015, Moonchef was created and became their senior Meal Cater for all their senior centers and participated in events for fund raising. Daisy is currently on their annual Gala Board.
Josephine has many talents other than being a Fund Director, she is a master at singing Opera. She started at the young age of 9, following her Master Law Yim Hing, who is a famous artist in Hong Kong that made over 100 movies during the 1960-70’s.
Josephine is a founder of “端鳳鳴劇團” (A Theatre Troupe). She has performed annually fund raising for Non- Profits out of the goodness of her heart and passion for the art. At any these performances, she was self-funded. This included the equipment, authentic custom-made dresses, shoes, hair, accessories, make-up, and stage setup. Amazingly she is also the Director for sound and lighting, music, and anything else to put on a great show for her audience.
Devoting her time and effort, she has supported the Chinese Opera Industry and instilled Chinese culture for all. To educate the next generation and anyone who has interest in Chinese Opera, by teaching. She has received many followers and students, she’s recruited volunteers, donors, and all professional Chinese Opera artists. She has flown them here, to a hotel and back home, out of her own pocket just to perform for the show she’d put together. Showing her appreciation to her followers and students by performing here, she would fly back to Hong Kong to support and perform there as well.
Josephine’s heart fell for the elderly, her giving back to community, and her involvement are such powerful messages we should all follow.
Josephine’s eyes will open, ears will listen whenever she hears or speaks of anything relating to Chinese Opera. When she on stage, she is not Josephine, she is the Character’s soul, they merge as “One”.
Thank you to Josephine for being a great friend and muse, our inspiration from her is “Follow your heart, do what you love no matter how hard it is or may seem. It will turn the impossible to everything is Possible “.

On this week’s episode 4 of Driving Miss Daisy🌼, we want to introduce Ms. F***y Li , Daisy's sister. They are a family with three siblings, her older brother King, her sister F***y and Daisy, the youngest. The trio was born and raised in Hong Kong, everyone always thought of them as coming from a very disciplined upbringing. This was because her parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins were all are teachers, Principals and/or Professors. The trio are very well disciplined but self disciplined. Their parents would give them plenty of freedom to mold themselves to be whom they think they should be. By demonstrations, and well balanced family time this allowed a lot of self development and private time to collect one's self. Daisy recalled to a time where they learned how to take care of themselves at a very young age. F***y would cook, clean, and help out with everything at the house starting at age of 6! Daisy was always the lazy one😂.

We proudly presented Ms. F***y Li for Episode 4 of Driving Miss Daisy🌼. F***y has devoted her life career on education and her life mission is to educate the next generation.

On this week’s episode 3, part 1 of Driving Miss Daisy🌼, we want to introduce Ms. Ross Sit, Daisy’s good friend. Daisy met back in 2009 from joining the Board of Directors of the Daly City & The City of Colma's Chamber of Commerce. They connected the very first day they met. As a single mother of two boys who's been through many hardships, Daisy has never heard Ross complain once. Ross is never sad, negative, or even upset for any reason. She is always full of positive energy and has the ability to spread her positivity to others.
Daisy describes Ross, “Not to say “Sexy” but I still remember one of our retreats, we were told to put a post-it note on everyone’s back using one word to describe them and Ross got Sexy all over her back😂.”
Ross became Daisy’s real estate agent, who has assisted her in a variety of purchases and sales regarding property. She always performed and excess excellency with unconditional follow ups.

On today's Part ✌of Episode 2 with Eileen Lock: Inspiration.

For the first 10 years, right before Daisy’s 2nd Cancer relapse, their relationship grew stronger, they visited each other and talked about life outside their usual readings. Daisy went on to becoming Eileen’s student in her clairvoyant trainings and joined her 5-10 minute group sessions for Spiritual and Gemstone Healing. “This was the most effective learning experience I have ever had every day for the past 4 years.”
Daisy became inspired after all the sessions she had with Eileen,
"Dreams do come true!" , Daisy was inspired to create her own dream journal 26 years ago, writing down all the hopes and wishes that she felt would be the best for herself and everyone around her. Almost every single entry she put down would have a 95% success rate of coming true, for herself and for others.
Everyone can learn to do the same thing if they have the will and training to do so. Limitations are the limits by one's self.
