I recently took a trip to Asheville and found so much inspiration in its galleries.

I was drawn to the incredible mix of colors, textures, materials, and forms, from woven fibers and sculptural ceramics to luminous glass and expressive paintings. Each piece gave me a reason to pause, look closer, and appreciate the creativity behind it.

The living space at Siesta Slat House is shaped by proportion, light, and thoughtful restraint.

By bringing the exterior vertical wall cladding inside, the design strengthens its connection to the landscape and the home’s historical facade, allowing each element to support the architecture and the room to feel both composed and quietly lived in.
