✨ Great design doesn’t happen by accident—it happens by intention.
After 23 years of designing luxury interiors, I can tell you that the most beautiful spaces are never the result of last-minute decisions. They’re the result of hundreds of thoughtful choices, carefully coordinated details, and a clear vision from day one.
Take this Mid-Century Modern kitchen, for example. Every element was considered long before the first cabinet was installed—the warm pecan cabinetry, the fully paneled refrigerator, the wood-clad hood, layered 2700K lighting, illuminated shelving, integrated cabinet lighting, and the oversized island designed to be both functional and beautiful. None of those details just “happened.”
The truth is, design is like a symphony. Every finish, fixture, appliance, material, and dimension has to work together. When decisions are delayed until construction is underway, things can quickly unravel. Builders get frustrated, trades are forced to stop and restart, materials may need to be reordered, schedules get pushed, and budgets start growing in all the wrong places.
And trust me—“Let’s just figure it out when we get there” has funded more change orders than I’d like to admit. 😉
A professional interior designer doesn’t just make things look beautiful. We solve problems before they happen. We help homeowners avoid costly mistakes, streamline construction, coordinate countless moving parts, and create spaces that feel effortless because every detail was thoughtfully planned.
Beautiful homes aren’t built one decision at a time during construction. They’re designed long before the first hammer swings.
Because luxury isn’t about spending more.
It’s about planning better.
