Mrs. Roper Romp-“Down on Main”.

We’re bringing the very first Mrs. Roper Romp to Main Street South! Get ready to romp, shop, dine, and have some fun Down on Main!

The Southbury Women’s Club invites you to join us for the inaugural Mrs. Roper Romp – “Down on Main” event on Saturday, September 26, from 11:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Inspired by the fabulous Mrs. Roper from Three’s Company, this fun-filled community event invites you to channel your inner Mrs. Roper and enjoy an afternoon celebrating our local businesses and community. The event is completely FREE to participate! And while we would absolutely love to see you dressed in your best Mrs. Roper-inspired 1970s look, dressing up is completely optional.

💃 How the Romp Works
The Romp begins at Mercato Italian Kitchen and ends at Bevy Co., with participants making their way along Main Street South throughout the afternoon.

Bingo Cards can be picked up at Mercato Italian Kitchen when the Romp begins.

Your Bingo Card will feature participating businesses. Visit the businesses along the route and have your card stamped. No purchase is required - simply stop in and participate!
Once you've completed your card, turn it in for a chance to win a fabulous Mrs. Roper inspired prize! 🎉 And, what would Mrs. Roper do without her Stanley? One lucky winner will take home a Stanley filled with gift cards (Get it? Her husband’s name was Stanley)!
📍 START: Mercato Italian Kitchen
🏁 FINISH: Bevy Co.
You can walk, drive, carpool, or rideshare your way “Down on Main”.

A beautiful little boy named Parker born July 2nd and a beautiful little girl named Morgan born July 26th!! They both came early but they are both perfect and healthy!! Vintage Rose located @ 134 Main Street South, Bennett Square, Southbury CT will be holding for the first time ever a “ Special Inventory Sale” to make room for new inventory this Saturday and Sunday ONLY. The pieces will have a large YELLOW TAG. That will show “2 prices”- 1 will have a price if you are using a credit card and the other will have a cash discount price (to avoid the credit card fees)The sales tax will be added at the end of each sale unless you are a shop owner and “MUST” have a copy of your tax exempt certificate for my records to keep- NO EXCEPTIONS- the hours are Saturday 9-5, Sunday9-2. There are (No item Holds all items must be paid in full) BUT you will have the standard store policy of 1 week to pickup your items. Please don’t ask what items they are. Everything is a 1 of a kind and it’s first come!
