TI coastline map in dusty teal is the only one available at Carolina Decor and More at this time. Custom colors AND locations available by commission. Check out some of my other maps in the third photo! I’ve created StringArt maps of different locations on Topsail Island, the NC coast, the outer banks, 30A in Florida, Tampa Bay and many more! Loving the gorgeous texture of this Barnwood with the Snowy Tree! Some people really plan ahead for the holidays and it’s fun to think about snow in the middle of a hot NC summer! Commission complete! This piece is headed back to Kansas where the barnwood was salvaged which makes it very meaningful to me. Upcycled art from salvaged wood brings new joy from old materials and keeps these precious resources from being wasted!

One of my favorite spots on Topsail Island, close to the location of the old green swing bridge with a gorgeous view of the “new” modern bridge. It’s quiet with a peaceful view of the ICW. Upcycled art using salvaged wood and an antique silver spoon that had seen better days. Custom pieces available upon request!

The summer has flown by! It has been filled with everything from wonderful family milestones to surgery to the recent passing of our beloved Keeperdog, and I was unprepared for my art time to diminish so rapidly these last few months as summer is usually my most productive and creative season. I’m still taking commissions, and I still have work at Inlet Blue Market and Carolina Decor & More in Surf City,NC on Topsail Island! I had some new work at each of these places in late spring/early summer and you will continue to find it there as I gather momentum and prepare to head into fall! I’m still enjoying every bit of summer as we head to the island this afternoon to reset and regroup and celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary!
