The Stanfield Bowling Alley earned Silver for Best Strange & Specialty Area in the 2026 CE Pro Home of the Year Awards!

This is a dedicated entertainment house in Azle with two private bowling lanes, a 146 inch Samsung The Wall beyond the pins, invisible audio hidden behind the finished surfaces, and a custom stone bar that glows from within. The architectural lighting can completely change the feel of the space.

Bringing it all together took serious coordination. Recessed lighting had to line up with the finished ceilings. The illuminated bar required the cabinetry, stone, and lighting teams to work together. Even getting the display installed meant carefully planning around the finished bowling lanes.

I’m proud of my team at Elite AV and Lighting and the work that went into this alongside Providential Custom Homes, Fusion Bowling, and everyone involved.

I’m grateful for clients who trust us with ideas this ambitious. Getting to bring them to life, and then see that work recognized nationally, is a pretty special feeling.

Thousands of hours. One greater purpose.

We are honored to share that the St. Jude Dream Home Showplace in Southlake received Gold in the 2026 CE Pro Home of the Year Awards for Best Combo Design + Tech Project.

Behind this recognition are thousands of hours of design, engineering, coordination, installation, programming, testing, and refinement. Our team at Elite AV & Lighting designed and delivered the home’s technology integration and architectural lighting with one standard: every system had to support the architecture, strengthen the experience, and disappear into the home.

An achievement of this scale is never the work of one company. We are proud to share it with Atwood Custom Homes, Spice Designs, Julie Parrent Design Studio, Control4, Sonance, and Samsung.

Most importantly, this project was created for something far greater than any award. We are grateful to have contributed to a home built in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

They come from project managers who went to bat for us.

They come from employees crawling through attics, pulling wire, building racks, programming systems, solving problems, and showing up again the next day.

They come from mistakes that forced us to get better.

They come from refusing to let the work become average.

When I started Elite AV and Lighting, I had no idea where this would go. I just knew I wanted to build systems the right way and keep pushing until the work matched the standard in my head.

Twenty years later, I am thankful for every client, builder, employee, vendor, rep, friend, and family member who helped make this possible.

The awards matter because they are proof of the work.

But the people behind the work matter more.
