Hubb Hideaway Update! I wanted our primary bathroom vanities to feel more like pieces of furniture rather than traditional bathroom cabinetry, so I added ornate legs, delicate cabinet k***s and a custom wood inlay on the doors. After months of searching for the perfect viola marble slabs to top them off, they came together exactly as I wanted!

A large kitchen doesn’t have to feel cold or overly formal. This one sits at the heart of a large contemporary home, so we wanted it to feel warm and comfortable. We honored the clean contemporary lines while softening the space with white oak cabinets, mixed metal finishes and durable countertops.

If you had seen the original kitchen layout, you’d never believe we found room for a bar - but we did! As part of a full kitchen renovation, we carved out this bar moment - complete with blue cabinetry, fun tile backsplash and gold fixtures. Proof that a little creative space planning can give you something you didn’t even know you had room for!

If we get the chance to add millwork to a space, we take it! This primary bedroom has a beautiful cathedral ceiling, but all that height can sometimes make a room feel not so cozy. Adding warm white oak beams and millwork brought in just the right amount of warmth and texture, making the soaring ceilings feel inviting and the room perfectly suited for cozy sleeping.

While yes, we are interior designers, we actually spend a lot of time on the exterior too. We follow the architect’s vision and select all the materials to bring it to life - stucco, brick, stone, soffit colors, roof shingles, siding and even gutter colors! The exterior should never feel separate from what’s happening inside.

Just designers living in a material world! Before we give the final sign-off, we always bring every material, finish and color together to make sure it all works in real life. Because no matter how many sources, photos or 3D renderings we create, nothing compares to seeing - and feeling - the materials side by side.

We love any opportunity to play with color—and proof that color doesn’t have to feel trendy. When used thoughtfully, it can be timeless, soothing and completely unique to your home. We played with so many green paints that we finally mixed our own custom blend for this perfect hue that beautifully complements the red brick and white oak cabinets.
