✨ Introducing Carolina ✨

The Carolina coastline is a huge part of our lives here in NC. It’s where we escape to in the summer to build traditions, make memories, feel the sand beneath our feet, and forget about our to-do lists for a while.

Carolina embodies that carefree energy so well. With notes of sea salt, mint, and juniper, this is the light, refreshing summertime scent you’ve always been searching for.

Let’s talk about the soap!!! Each seashell is made of soap and individually handcrafted, so every single bar is different. You may even get lucky and snag a rare soap with a starfish!

We plan to release our Summer Collection later this evening!! And trust me when I say this will be one of our most exciting launches yet. TWO brand new scents, TWO redesigned soaps, and six new liquid soaps!

We decided to lean into a beachy theme for a couple scents, so I thought it would be worthwhile to take a trip to the beach to do product photography.

As I was trudging through thick sand with a heavy backpack full of products, waiting hours for the best lighting, and getting some gnarly bruises from being pressed up against sharp rocks as I was trying to get the right angles - all I could think about was how proud I am of myself and our whole team for putting in such hard work and not taking the easy way out by utilizing AI in these creative moments.

In a world where we’re all struggling to differentiate between what’s real and what’s AI - the same world where we keep learning and innovating here at SCC - we’ve noticed that folks online are truly struggling to believe whether our soaps are real or not. It’s a problem we’re not really sure how to navigate, other than being more transparent than ever about the process.

That being said - here are a few photos from my trip. I hope you’ll recognize these scenes this evening and know without a shadow of a doubt that everything you see is real, and made with pure human creativity. ✨
