Esmé wanted to pop in to say hi! She made her debut on December 15th and has been the sweetest addition to our family.

As I slowly re-emerge into the world, I wanted to pop in here to share that we are currently taking all orders through our online shop. Hi Everyone!

The physical Mesa store is now officially closed, but I’ve moved the remaining inventory online — and the discounts continue!

For those in Spearfish, local delivery is now available right to your door. Orders placed by 12 PM will be delivered the same day, while those placed after will arrive the following business day.

Please note:

Specialty food items and wine are available for delivery only within Spearfish.

Home décor items can be delivered locally or shipped anywhere.

If you’d prefer to pick up your order instead, just send me an email or text, and we can arrange a convenient time.

As I continue selling through current inventory, I’m brainstorming ways to keep Mesa alive online. If you’d find value in that, I’d love to hear your thoughts — and what products you’d most like to see stay available.

Dear Mesa Community,

Today marks our last day at 128 W Hudson St, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you’ve shown this little dream of mine. The encouragement I felt as I dove headfirst into this venture meant the world to me.

Starting over in a new place during a challenging time, this space became more than just a business—it was a place to connect. I’ll miss most the conversations with both familiar and new faces—the friendly regulars who made Mesa part of their routine and the curious visitors discovering something new and different in our little town.

Mesa didn’t quite have the time it needed to fully take root, but I leave with lessons learned, inspiration for the future, and immense gratitude for everyone who was part of the journey. So, this isn’t goodbye—just goodbye for now—as I take some time to welcome my little one in December. Stay tuned to see what unfolds next.

In the meantime, please stop by today to help us clear out what we can on this final day open! Even if you don’t buy anything, I’d love one more chance to say thank you and “see you around.”

Dear Mesa Community,

It is with both gratitude and a bit of bittersweetness that I share some news: Mesa will soon be closing its doors — at least for now.

When I opened Mesa at the beginning of this year, my dream was to create more than just a store. I hoped to offer a place of inspiration, connection, and community — and you all made that dream a reality. The support, encouragement, and kindness you’ve shown in such a short time has meant the world to me.

The timing of life, however, has its own plans. With a new baby on the way, I realized there is no way to keep Mesa open while I step away to focus on this important chapter. While this decision is not easy, I know it is the right one for now.

Starting October 1st until we close, all of Mesa’s inventory will be available at discounted prices. I’d love for these items to find homes with you — the community that gave this space so much meaning. Please stop by, say hello, and help us send Mesa off with warmth and celebration.

Though Mesa’s doors are closing for the time being, the joy, creativity, and connections shared here will stay with me always. I am endlessly grateful for each of you who stopped in, supported this vision, and helped bring Mesa to life.

Putting this out for anyone that has asked and for anyone that may be interested.

In a previous chapter—before settling in Spearfish—I devoted my time to travel, brand, and portrait photography. If you’ve visited Mesa, you may have noticed two of my prints on display.

The question of print availability has come up before, but in the hustle of getting Mesa off the ground, I hadn’t given it much attention—until now. I’m happy to share that a curated selection of prints is available for purchase at www.mollyzaidman.com, where you can learn more about each piece.

If a particular image speaks to you, I encourage you to reach out directly to discuss and place your order. While the website offers an overview, I prefer handling print orders personally—it allows for customization in sizing and framing and ensures a smoother experience (plus, there are still a few website kinks that may never get sorted out, to be honest).

Print Details
All prints are produced on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm paper—a museum-quality archival paper known for its excellent detail, muted blacks, and soft cotton texture. The paper has a minimal texture and a chalky smooth feel, offering rich, nuanced color gradients. Due to its delicate surface, we recommend careful handling, especially if you’re planning to mount it. Edges can fray if not treated with care.

Framing
For those interested in framed pieces, I collaborate with Art House here in the Black Hills. Their work is gallery-quality—our framed Italy print at Mesa is a great example of their craftsmanship.

Each image is a Limited Edition of 50, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
