I have had some wonderful client interactions lately — the kind that remind me why I wanted to open my shop in the first place. My style is not quite the beaten path, at least here locally. It can be a bit lonely not doing what everyone else is doing. But then someone comes in who ‘gets’ what’s happening here in my uniquely beautiful space and I am happy. 😃 I just love to share velvets and linens, old paintings, crystal chandeliers, blue and white china, silver food domes, hand woven and blocked cotton throws, statues, baskets, painted trays. And of course I adore designing custom sofas, chairs, sectionals, and ottomans for those of you who, like me, don’t want what all your neighbors have. Good times!

Is it a bad thing that I have been so distracted by summer? In spite of all our woes, I’ve had some very good times. So appreciative of family, friends, and clients who are sharing in my summer fun!

Just as I promised myself, I am having a wonderful summer! And of course the fun includes my home away from home, Trovato Interiors. This table, skirted in a custom burlap cloth, features an overscale whitewashed wood bowl (available in three sizes) filled with embroidered linens, a heavy clay handled pot, and a glazed faux deer head. Earthy, natural tones create a relaxed feel.

Half Price! Can’t take a piece this big with us. Many of you have loved this but didn’t like the price. To order this now is over 14k. I’ll take 7,000. This has been our best selling frame, with our plushest cushions, great styling, and ultra soft fabric. Our largest pieces have to go.
