June may be flying by, but garden season is far from over. 🌿

Some of my favorite perennials are just beginning to hit their stride, and there is still plenty of time to add color, texture, and interest to your garden for the months ahead.

Late-blooming perennials, ornamental grasses, hardy hibiscus, anemones, asters, echinacea, and agastache all help carry the garden beautifully through late summer and into fall.

Don't let anyone convince you the season is winding down. Around here, we're just getting started. 🌸

One of my favorite things about June is that the nursery starts to feel settled in.

The spring rush is behind us, the perennials are stretching into their summer stride, and every morning brings a few new blooms.

There is something new to discover around every corner right now—from sunny blooms to shady garden combinations like this one.

June is National Perennial Gardening Month! 🌿

Did you know June has been designated National Perennial Gardening Month by the Perennial Plant Association?

Perennials are the backbone of the garden, returning year after year with beautiful blooms, pollinator support, and ever-changing seasonal interest.

Right now the nursery is filled with colorful favorites including delphinium, salvia, coreopsis, echinacea, hydrangeas, and more. It's one of my favorite times of year to wander the garden and see what's blooming.

Last night was everything I hoped Garden Gathering would be.

The gardens were filled with conversation, laughter, harp music, floral refreshments, and so many wonderful people who took the time to slow down and enjoy a beautiful June evening.

Thank you to everyone who came, wandered the nursery paths, sipped floral elixirs, visited with friends, and made the evening so special.

A special thank you to Keisha for the beautiful harp music, and to my husband, who kept the refreshments flowing all evening long.

Seeing so many people slow down, wander the gardens, and simply enjoy the evening was such a gift.

My heart is very full today. 🌿

A little Garden Gathering prep today. 🌿

We've been cleaning the nursery, taming the weeds, tidying flower beds, planting a few new additions, and getting the Cottage ready for next week's Garden Gathering.

There are still plenty of projects left on the list, but it's starting to come together. ✨
