Update 11/2/2025

Hey guys, I just wanna let you know. I am making headway, with the weather turning with three kids and a full-time job. All of my spare time has been taken up with the fight to get the shop closed up before the snow hits.

That transition from working for someone to working for yourself is a very, very difficult one. We tried really hard to launch the business this spring and the truth is I absolutely need the shop space before I even think of truly trying to build a company.

That’s OK! Every mistake is a hidden opportunity to learn, and I have been blessed with so so so many lessons. I think next spring we’re gonna come out running instead of trudging uphill carrying burden after burden on our backs.

Update 10/5/2025

1. Sheet metal is going on.
2. We are on track to be finished up with the walls and roof by the end of the month.
3. We will run simple power for the winter and address a better setup next spring
4. Wood stove going in as well we have 11 acres of treed land and intend to use it.

Our current goals are to have two restorations done and up for sale before 2026. Hoping to hit next spring at full speed.

Sorry for the slow updates! The roof framing is going on right now and we will start laying sheet metal sometime next week.

1. Going to purchase a camera setup this month
2. Going to build barn doors next month
3. I have several furniture restoration jobs lined up to start in November

Update 9/6/25

We are making progress, but it is slow going. Currently the roof cross pieces are going on. It’s a lot of up-and-down on the ladder lol. Once that’s finished. Will have 2 to 3 hours of prep work then the sheet metal will start to go on.

Update 8/29/25

We are moving along. Every step feels so small but I know that if we remain faithful in time we will succeed.

Next steps are as follows, we still have 100ft of channel to attach along the base of the frame. We will seal the exterior of the frame with caulk before attaching the channel at the bottom. Afterwards we will move to the roof and begin work on that portion.

Closing in the shop and running power before winter begins is absolutely critical. All of my spare time is turned towards that goalpost at the moment.
