Inspired by last week’s consult with someone who lost their home to the wildfires and was totally overwhelmed by what decisions to even start considering with their new home construction… here are 3 categories to think about first. Of course it’s usually ideal to take on the majority of the design at one time, but that’s not always possible. This client may have their foundation poured in the coming month or two, so with a start date just around the corner, we strategized the earliest decisions that need to be prioritized. 👏🏼 I hope this helps others who may find it easier to make decisions one step at a time!

Life/work update!!
We’re wrapping up our summer travels and getting settled into a cute little rental house for the winter, and wow am I loving being surrounded in my own little nest of creature comforts and special belongings. After living out of a suitcase for 3 months and being a little more nomadic than originally planned, it feels nice to transition back to a feeling of home for a while. With lots of changes in life for us and a commitment to taking each next step with deep intention, I’m veryyy slowly rolling out availability and services for how I want to show up in service to others.

Consulting continues to be one of the services that feels high impact, high value, and quick results and it also happens to be something I absolutely love doing. Sharing knowledge comes natural to me and this feels like one of the most accessible ways for people to connect and make use of that. But there’s something about virtual consultations that people sometimes get hung up on about how effective it will be, or what can truly be done during the time. I’m here to answer those common questions and assure you that virtual sessions are definitely worthwhile! My books are officially back open for the month of September, for virtual consulting only at this time! However, limited in-person offerings will likely start in October if that is still your preference ☺️

I’m looking forward to getting back into rhythms and routines as the seasons shift!

Alright friends, I’m overdue for giving you all an update!

We closed on the sale of our home last week. It’s been a month of highs and lows, of excitement and grief, but overall, I’m surprised to say the transition for our family has been easier than I anticipated.

Some days we sat at the house wondering how much we would miss the sound of the meadowlarks or watching the sunsets every night. And certainly those things I will miss most.

Other days we had long conversations dreaming about what will come next. New chapters, new stories, new growth.

I don’t have all the answers in order to provide an update in a tidy package. So often it comes out as a jumbled mess of sharing the adventures and hopes ahead. So below is the short version.
