I am having so much fun working on this lovely sweater! The yarn is SO soft it’s making the stockinette stripes fly by. As an added bonus, this is a PNW Yarn and a PNW pattern! I 💖 representing our corner of the crafting world.

🎉SAVE THE DATE for another TRUNK SHOW🎉

Bone Garden Yarn will be joining us on Saturday, October 17 from 12-4pm 🧶

Bone Garden: Where Yarn Goes to Dye is local to Spokane and is the brainchild of two wonderful women, Jenn and Stacy. Their colorways range from mellow tonals through to sparkle, and pop culture and fantasy fiction inspired variegated yarns. They may also bring some yarn/candle gift sets to share!

It’s almost October, which means it’s time for Stephen West’s annual MKAL- and we have MKAL sets from Two Springs Fiber Arts in stock!

If you’re not familiar with this MKAL, you will knit a beautiful shawl one clue at a time, mixing colors and stitch patterns in exciting new ways!

The MKAL isn’t just for experienced knitters- there are videos explaining the different stitches and tricky bits, and Katrina from Two Springs Fiber Arts will be in the store and working on her shawl during open knit on Thursdays at 1pm.

🎉New Yarn Alert 🎉 Our fall yarns are starting to arrive! First in are Woodnote Aran from Baa Ram Ewe, The Luxury Skinny Blend from Kinua Yarns, and Fleck from Woolfolk Yarns.

These are all non-superwash yarns,in worsted, heavy Aran, and DK weight, and have a wonderful hand feel.

I’ll go a bit more in depth on each yarn next week, but these yarns need to be seen and felt in person (my TBK list just grew substantially).

We can’t wait to show you these yarns in person! 🧶

Loving the Aspen Pullover by idaho.stitched knit in Malabrigo Vientos’ Piedras.

This was a super quick knit on US 10.5 and US 11 needles. It’s knit from the bottom up, so you get the sleeves done first (no sleeve island!), then the body, then you join all 3 pieces and decrease for the shoulder shaping.

It’s such a quick knit that your sweater will be ready once the cooler weather hits!
