The answer to tonight's question is my favorite knitting gadget is stitch markers. I use them on every project to help count stitches or mark increases or pattern changes. They are indispensable for me. Something I don't use that often, but probably would be a good thing, is needle stoppers. I have some cute stoppers. But I'm usually too busy to find them and put them on. I just scoot my knitting to the safe side of the needle, lay it down, and sprint to let the dog in or whatever is calling to me.

This vintage pattern I'm working on has been fun. It's fi*****ng yarn on size 8 needles. I used a cotton nylon blend yarn. This is for my daughter, and it looks small, but it is a very stretchy knit. So we will see.

Tonights question is do you have an LYS? It took me a minute to figure out, Local Yarn Store. Lol. But yes! I love in Spokane.
I go there for most of my natural fibers. I got what I'm working on right now from there. Its a cotton acrylic blend and is a dream to work with. Also, my Brittany Needles come from the The EZknit shop in Colville. That place is just the best, with both fabric and yarn.

My project is a 1940's vintage design that my daughter picked out. She also chose the yarn and color. I had to do some math and make the pattern smaller for her. But I do think it's pretty cool. I bought it from a seller on Etsy who sells vintage reproductions. Im also working on a crochet star baby blanket for grandaughter #3 due in June! More excitement to come.

Going through my grandmother's old box of odds and ends from the 1920s. Any guesses as to what these things are? I had to Google it. I'll leave the answer in the comments.

A little sock for a premie. My granddaughter was born a month early, and regular baby socks fall right off her narrow little feet. And yet, those tiny feet are three inches long! No problem, grandma can whip up a pair of custom-made socks. 🩷

It's Thursday night, and that means
Tonight, I wanted something fizzy to drink, so I'm having Sparkling Ice zero sugar drink with vitamins in black raspberry. I'm crocheting a teddy bear onesy for grand baby Josephine, who will be arriving soon. Baby clothes are still so much fun. This only took me two days.

Hi everyone! Its
Tonight, I finished knitting a pair of baby shoes for little Josephine Jewell. We had a little scare and almost thought she'd be born tonight, but she decided to wait a little longer. I just need to sew on some buttons.
Tonight's drink is milk. It helps me sleep. Lol.
The question of the day is what yarn do you hate to work with? Mine would be black yarn. I could probably knit with it, but never crochet. I also dislike bulky velvet yarn. I know people love it. But it is so awful to work with. Plus, I have another unpopular opinion, I hate making amigurumi. They are cute, but I dislike making them so much.

It's and my star blanket has been finished for awhile. baby shower is Saturday, and most of my projects are done. There will always be more I want to do.
The question of the night is my favorite stitch. I love half double crochet stitches. I also love to knit rather than purl. But I would rather purl than go to the dentist.
My drink tonight was this new Gatorade Light with nothing artificial in it, including no sugar substitute. Just 5 grams of cane sugar. It was the rain berry flavor, and it it was good. I'm hopeful that more brands with start going dye and artificial ingredient free.
Thanks for reading all this.
