Our Story
It all started when owner, Angelique St. Clair set out to make a teepee for her young son with DIY instructions that she found on the internet and a starter sewing machine that her mother-in-law bought for her, on a whim. The only problem was that she had zero sewing skills. In fact, she had never even touched a sewing machine and didn’t know why she was gifted one. But then again, she really wanted to make that cute teepee for her son. It took many internet videos and on-line sewing tutorials, but she finally made the teepee and her passion for creating was born.
She starting making pillows because they seemed easy (with the straight lines and all). Thankfully, her knowledge and skills have greatly grown over the years.
Adding typography to pillows came about as a desire and need to make gifts for friends and family more memorable and special. And that is her mission with the business that she’s created today. “We are driven by the aspiration to connect with our customers… to create something they find unique and special and that brings them joy”
As business has grown, she has proudly added a few women-owned business production helpers to her team. She says, “it’s all about working together, supporting each other and growing our dreams.”
