Last fall, we had the privilege of meeting Tom Lakenen, metal artist and founder of the famous Lakenenland on M28 in Marquette County in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Tom repurposes old metal and machines into captivating metal sculptures at his famous drive-thru sculpture park. We were happy to bring a large section of original Mackinac Bridge road deck up to Tom, and we can’t wait to see what he turns it into in Lakenenland!
