This cool photo is not a piece of my art — it’s an image of my brain. Six weeks ago, I had a subarachnoid hemorrhage that landed me in the hospital for three weeks, followed by three more weeks of recovery at home where I wasn’t allowed to do much, including driving.

I am beyond thankful to be here and so blessed for all the support and prayers from my family and friends.
And the amazing neurologist team at cmc charlotte.
Public announcement: If you or someone you know ever has a headache so painful that you can’t think or speak, get to the ER immediately — it makes all the difference in recovery.

I’m happy to share that today my neurologist team released me from their care. I made a full recovery.

Art by accident!
I was cleaning my studio today and found paper that I clean my brushes out. I loved the texture and how the color reacted to each other. So I decided to make mini art out of it.
