The front of this home faces east and got fairly warm with the direct morning sun. The glass units are high performing, so the heat gain wasn't too bad but noticeable. The main objective was to obtain daytime privacy, since everything inside could be seen from the street. Vista V38 was used to add moderate reflection, tint the glass to a level necessary for the privacy without being too dark, reduce solar heat gain, and provide >99% UV protection.

Vista VS50 is a reflective spectrally-selective film that is lightly tinted and provides 62% total solar energy rejection. This home gets direct morning sun and the two rooms heated up significantly. Using this film cuts the heat gain without cutting too much light while adding moderate reflectivity to the exterior.

More windows needed to be tinted during the renovation project. These two offices used to not be offices. Now they are and the morning sun is direct starting in the late spring. Llumar DR15 was used to reject 70% of the solar energy and to reduce the nasty glare. This film will also provide daytime privacy.

The new PickleRage - Centerville location is very close to opening its doors! I was happy to get these windows tinted dark so everyone playing inside won't be blinded by the bright skies outside. The dark film is ASWF Moonlight 5, which is a non-reflective dual-laminated product. The blackout film on the lower sections is the version with a scratch-resistant coating, which has a classier appearance than blackout without the coating. It looks like it will be a fun place!

This upper loft was very annoying on sunny days, but not anymore! The glare and solar heat gain were so bad that the homeowner said to go with the darkest film. ASWF Daydream 5 was the perfect product with its 80% total solar energy rejection and extreme glare reduction. This film is a little less reflective on the exterior compared to other dual-reflective films of the same darkness.

Here's a little job that needed to be done on a Sunday. This UPS Store is going through a remodel and whiteout film (or White Opaque) was part of the scope to be installed for total blockage of the new desks and cabinets. This film still allows approximately 5% visible light through, but washes out shadows quite well.

Sometimes windows need to be replaced and new film installed because a car blasted through a storefront. It happens too often. This storefront was tinted in the past and the two new glass panes needed to match as closely as possible. Llumar DRN35 was the closest match. Part of this renovation at the Beavercreek location was to create a one-way effect for the conference room upstairs. Llumar DR5 was specified by the architect. It's the darkest dual-reflective film in that product line, meaning it's highly reflective on the exterior, but has low reflectivity on the interior. When the lights are dimmed in the conference room, a good one-way effect will occur.

When glare and solar heat gain are big issues and a warm tone matches the color scheme, a bronze 20 film (Llumar N1020B) will do the job beautifully. A total solar energy rejection rating in the upper-70% range crushes the heat gain.
