Well, we can finally say with certainty that our location in Springboro is no more. I want to thank everyone for supporting us over the years and rooting for us during the process of selling our property. Many have expressed heartfelt concern over this decision, but I assure you that it was made at the right time and for the right reasons.
Like most people do at the end of an era, I find myself looking back to consider what all we have done and what it all meant. Certainly, the most important part of our work lies within the homes of our customers. Whether you were seeking new or reupholstered furniture, flooring, or window treatments, we hope you know how honored and humbled we were that you chose us to provide the backdrop of your most cherished memories.
I also think about some of the projects that we didn’t publicize but that will hopefully be seen for many years to come. There are too many to mention here, but the following are some of the largest:
>seating for many local and national restaurants such as, Frisch’s, The Paragon, Jag’s
>huge wool banners for the new football facility at the University of Notre Dame and the Championship banners at the University of Michigan and University of West Virginia
>locker rooms for the Atlanta Hawks and FC Cincinnati
>seating for hospitals all over the country, most recently the 2021 new edition of Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati
>upholstered furniture for hundreds of J. Jill, Chase Bank, and Regus locations
>leather upholstery for many of Starbucks’ high-end locations, including their flagship signature stores
>over 500 cornice boards for the section of the Pentagon that, tragically, was destroyed in the 9/11 attacks the following year
While this marks the end of our retail business, our commercial and institutional window treatment business continues to thrive. For all of you who have been teasing me about my “retirement,” please know that I have been blessed with continued work since the closing. On behalf of my parents and grandparents, I wish to thank you for all your support since 1945.
