Lodge life 🐝 Inspired by nature and our client’s mountain setting we chose materials that reflected the home’s setting when designing the interiors. Walnut walls frame the entrance to this guest bath where we inset the marble floors with bronze borders forged to resemble tree bark. A custom twig vanity, antler mirror and scenic wallpaper all add to the rustic vibe.

Layers 🐝 A favorite penthouse we designed. The vintage De Sede AG sofa anchors the room while an industrial game table surrounded by game chairs with iconic pop art images carved into the back takes center stage. We wrapped the space in grass cloth and covered the floors in antique over-dyed rugs all to provide the perfect backdrop for our client’s collection of artwork by major street artists and muralists.

Get your motor running 🐝 A custom bronze tree trunk table by Jiun Ho, Inc. greets guests to Parker Lexus, a recent commercial project we wrapped up. The interiors and furnishings were inspired by the landscapes of Arkansas. The floors of pillowed marble, walnut paneling, polished stone and heavily textured fabrics all help to bring the outdoors in on this spectacular dealership.

Last stop 🐝 That’s a wrap for High Point Market spring 2025. The GDG team and I had a blast finding lots of new and fabulous vendors to share with our clients. I loved taking over High Point Market’s IG for the day and sharing some of our favorite finds. It’s also always great to see our favorite vendors, catch up with design friends from around the globe and attend so many fun design events and dinners all centered around sharing the creative spirit. Happy Easter 🐝 I love setting my client’s dining room table for holiday gatherings especially Easter. Everything on the table from the dishes, silverware, crystal, napkins and of course the eggs are all Faberge. The fresh flowers I picked from her gardens and the room I designed in her favorite shades of pink all to create the perfect space for family gatherings. Who doesn’t want a Faberge egg in their Easter basket?

Lodge Life 🐝 The formal living space on our lodge project was intended to be a showcase for my clients collection of important western art, antiques, love of all things natural and their global travels with tons of texture and cozy seating by our custom fireplace with bespoke screen from our favorite iron smith. We layered in lush jewel tones from the custom STARK Carpet to the shearling covered chairs and custom fireplace where I had a massive boulder brought in by a crane to create the perfect hearth. Being part American Indian myself I love adding unexpected historical elements such as the authentic headdress who I worked closely with the Cheyenne tribe to procure with their blessings. The back drop over the fireplace is a large piece of tree bark I sourced from a lumber mill in Oregon. Lots of layers and details in true GDG style.
