Friends,

In 2008, local police officers gathered for the Law Enforcement Memorial Pre-Party here in Springfield. They noticed no one in this area was represented by a LEO Motorcycle club.

That changed.

In late 2008, after 9 guys petitioned the Roughnecks National Board, the Springfield Chapter of the Roughnecks M/C was founded.

The picture on the top left symbolizes those clubs, with our own, who have made the trip year in and year out to the event. The bottom right shows just how far we've come in representing central Illinois and the Roughneck Nation.

Its amazing to see our growth as a club here in Springfield, this, our 10th year (November), representing Police, Fire, EMS, Corrections, Military (active/retired), and other careers. Our love for St. Jude will always push us to send them more money every year in hopes of ending early childhood cancer.

So from all of us, thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you at the Curve Inn, June 9th, 11am, as we head out on our annual Poker Run!!!
