Springfield Antique Barn

Springfield Antique Barn Springfield, Tennessee’s largest antique store with more than 150 Vendors. Area's largest. More than 125 booths. I shop here all the time.

This 80-year-old building has a lot of character, with a "down-home" atmosphere and friendly southern smiles. User review from Yelp:
Springfield Antique Barn has the largest variety of inventory with a variety of prices. This multi-dealer mall is huge and the staff is always top-notch. PROS: Open Late on Thursday Evenings CONS: Not open on Sundays

User reviews from Yahoo local:
Fantastic place t

o shop, Good variety, Be prepared to spend the day. Be sure to take a break for lunch, Very fine antiques that are reasonably priced. They must have 200 booths

Wonderful place to find just about anything antique. Not filled with garage sale junk like some other "antique" stores. awesome store with a lot of merchandise, store is the former old john deere dealer, been twice and will go back.

To me. Chantele is a super hero.

Hi, it's Chantele and this is a really weird and awkward post for me to write.

At our events throughout the weekend, so many strangers were seeking me out, wanted to meet me, hug me, thank me, and even take pictures with me. That was incredibly awkward for me because like so many animal lovers, I am not great with people. I do realize that many people want to know more about this girl who gathered the courage to speak out, so here goes.

**If you hate reading and only want to take one thing away from this, here it is: I am no one special and it only takes one person to make a difference. Try to make a positive difference every single day.**

I have lived in Robertson County for the last 21 years. I worked in Northcrest's Central Scheduling Department for nine years. Many years ago, in another lifetime, I was a LPN.

I annoy myself, and often my family, because I always do the right thing and am incredibly outspoken. I can't help it, I have to. My big mouth even landed me on a hidden camera TV show called What Would You Do that did a filming at the Historic Perk a few years back.

As you may have guessed, I am extremely passionate about animals. I started Critter Fixers in 2018 after the first of many dogs were dumped on my road. I thought of starting a rescue, but wanted something that could reach further than rescue. Prevention, so maybe one day, there were none left to rescue. I also love babies and children. I have volunteered at multiple children organizations throughout the county.

I grew up very poor. I had my first child and married at age 14. I used to be embarrassed by those facts, but now I don't really care who knows. I worked so hard to pull myself out of poverty. I home schooled myself and graduated at 16. I went to nursing school at age 18 and bought my first home at 19.

I fully comprehend the struggle of families today. I understand children begging for a pet and parents saying no because they know they can't afford to properly take care of it.

My hope is that Critter Fixers affordable services will help give a child a better childhood. Maybe it will allow their parents to finally say yes to a pet. Maybe it will allow a lonely child who's bullied for not having the nicest clothes, or living in a rundown old house, to have a pet, a best friend to talk to, something to love in a world where the bad seems to outweigh the good.

I am not unique. Every small nonprofit in the county was started by someone like me. Someone who just wants to help make the world a little better and understands that one person can make a difference.

Pick your passion and support them.

Show up at their events.

Share their posts.

Donate on a regular basis-even $5 a month makes a difference.

Do whatever you can, every day, to make a positive impact.

It's really easy when we all come together.
