My customer: Iā€™m ok leaving this furniture, I just want to update the floor.

Me: hmmmm Have you thought about updating the fan? What about adding a beam? And if youā€™re not ready to update the furniture, thatā€™s Ok- but let me just show you what it could look like.

This whole-house remodel was definitely a challenge! Yes, it is one of the biggest of my career! And Iā€™m so proud of what my team was able to accomplish. We worked through a lot to get here (you just never know whatā€™s under or behind the walls) but, Iā€™d say the end result was definitely worth it- donā€™t you?

Ummm youā€™re thinkingā€¦Paula, this isnā€™t a kitchen. šŸ˜‚
Hereā€™s the thingā€”I donā€™t just look at the room you call me about. I look at the whole space.

In this home, the fireplace and bathroom were right next to the kitchen. Updating the kitchen and stopping there would have made everything else feel dated.

So we talked through the whole space and made a plan that made the entire home feel cohesive.
