I’m still here ! Decided to make something purely for myself today out of some The Home Depot 1x6’s I had kickin around. I’m actually pretty impressed with how basic pine looks with a little chamfer action and some Varathane® triple thick satin urethane. This was a great one day project.

I love custom work when I actually have time to do it 😆😆

A friend reached out recently because she needed a hardwood cutting board of a specific size in two days for a client. I had some cherry around so I said sure I got you. She would be doing the engraving and applying the finish, so I glued up a panel and cut the edge profile , sanded to 220 and delivered. I kind of love a collaborative effort !

Getting all kinds of festive up in here ! In my never ending quest to learn how my cnc router works I whipped up these Christmas gnome ornaments using some 1/4 inch pine. The black lines are accomplished using stain pens (via masking on the engraving cut) and then the color is just sharpie. It was a lot of fun and just a quick simple project !
