📚declutter and stage an entire home in two days? we’re on it! 📸

swipe to see some impactful before and after photos. the only items purchased were some throw pillows and curtains to freshen up the color palette. all other decor was already owned, we just repurposed it!

the homeowners were AMAZING, they listened to feedback and packed sooo many boxes while we were there. it was a true team effort and they received an offer the first day of showings!

one of our recently staged homes just hit the market! 🥳

the owners were using this house as a rental property, so before listing it was completely empty. the furniture was brought over from their current house, and we added some simple decor to complete the finishing touches.

we love how quaint and clean the house looks, can’t wait to see how quickly it sells! 🌿

🌿still swooning over the antique details in this bathroom transformation! 🌿

this half bath was in desperate need of an update. 😬 all it took was one weekend and a few hundred dollars. here’s what we changed and spent!

▪️quart of paint: $15
▪️mirror: $50
▪️sink: $100
▪️light fixture: $150
▪️tin ceiling: $100
▪️faucet: kept original

💥only $415 for a total overhaul!

we think it’s a perfect mixture of new trends and this homes early 1900’s roots ⚜️

🚨super easy upgrade alert: spray painting air vents!🚨

are your air vents older or don’t match your floor? 🤔 find an appropriate color spray paint and give them new life! 💥

I’m “floored” 😏 at how easy this project was and it only took 5 minutes and cost $5! 👏🏼

✨let’s talk curtains!!✨

easily one of my favorite and quickest ways to completely transform a room. ensuring curtains are the right length, hung high enough, and don’t obstruct the window are the keys! 🗝

since this is a guest room, it’s going to need more than just sheers. we want our guests to actually sleep past 6 am. ☀️

we’re just waiting on some super fun velvet blackout curtains and then it’s complete!

in person, this room looks like it went from being an afterthought to being a highlight of the home with that spectacular wood trim.

we love showcasing all the unique features of a home and windows are one of our faves! 💚

staged vs. unstaged

a few things happening in these photos that are important to note when you’re house hunting or selling.

☝🏼the walls were not painted! this is a great example of how different photographers and filters realtors use can drastically change the look of a home.

✌🏼the fireplace received a small ~$500 facelift. it went from the only thing you noticed in the photo (i.e. ugly) to blending seamlessly with the rest of the interior. goes to show how small investments in your home can add up to big pay-offs when you go to sell.

🤟🏼 the staged photo gives an example of how the room would look when lived in, versus relying on the buyer to try and picture it themselves.

before & after: fireplace edition

this fireplace was underutilized and underwhelming. the additional weird tile hearth distracted from the gorgeous brick. we removed that eyesore, gave the room a fresh coat of paint, and added minimal decor to the mantle.
peep the antique andirons too, found on Facebook marketplace for $20!

she’s an absolute beauty now!
