A favorite moment from the living room — the cobalt console and sunburst painting bring such energy to the space. I love how a single piece of art can anchor a room and tie together the colors and textures around it. Playful vibes here with the modern fabric on the Louis XV chairs. From our home, featured now in .

Our living room, featured on the cover of .

When designing this space, I wanted it to feel vibrant, layered, and sophisticated — a room where bold color, art, and textiles come together in a way that still feels comfortable for everyday living.

I’ve always believed that color, when thoughtfully balanced, brings a sense of joy and personality to a home. Helping clients discover how livable and beautiful color can be in their own spaces is always one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Heads up!! This kitchen is a good example of how color, texture and some whimsy can be transformative when a renovation is not needed or desired. It all started with our muse — a collection of ceramic heads! We added pin lighting to allow each lady’s unique headdress and expression to be showcased. Vintage Blenko decanters were procured at The Brass Alligator and placed in a rhythmic sequence with the heads. The walls were painted with Benjamin Moore’s Sundial to provide warmth and vibrancy. Off-white Subway tiles with greige veining were chosen to coordinate with the existing countertops, keeping the aesthetic “clean” as requested by our client. Matchstick blinds and rattan counter stools add organic texture to contrast with the granite, creating an interesting balance. Facelift complete and Thanksgiving ready!

Happy Friday from this colorful office that was pure pleasure to take from basement bedroom to home office. The amazing accent mural was the muse that is color-echoed in the parallel gallery wall, telling our client’s story through art from family, travels and career. These former London ex-pats clients asked for their vintage furniture and modern art to shine in their urban pied-a-terre. First design decision was moving the small sculptures — the wife’s parents were friends of artist Henry Moore — giving new prominence by positioning them on custom floating shelves. Colorful and patterned textiles were used to match the couple’s playfulness and joie de vivre!
