Still going at it, folks! I missed a day or two but it's still 30 movies and reviews in 30 days. I've been seeing some really good cinema during this time and honestly, most of my reviews have not been great lol. But I promise I'll get better 😅 what y'all think of my watches so far?

On day eight of doing something I started completely randomly! I'm committing to watching and reviewing 30 movies in thirty days!

Why? Great question.

I am watching (and reviewing) these movies to build my media literacy, my critical thinking analysis, and just my overall pop culture knowledge. I'm trying to throw in some new and some old, some "good" and some "bad", and all genres and mediums are welcome.

So far, keeping this up has been surprisingly hard bc I've been kind of depressed and can rarely pick a movie 🤦🏾‍♀️😅 but if anyone has any suggestions or would like to discuss a movie, I'll be trying to remember to update here and would love to hear from you! I am tryna get movies I have never seen or haven't seen in a long while so lmk what your favorite movie is or what you're watching right now!

Happy Black History Month, y'all!!! One of my favorite Black History moments: Tommy Smith and John Carlos won first and third in the 1968 Olympics and held up their fists in solidarity with the Civil Rights movement that was happening at the time. It was one of the most powerful displays of protest at the time, showing their stand with human rights. That display is why Colin Kaepernick was able to kneel while he was. It truly makes me proud. So I have been making these keychains for a while and I legit love them! I'd love to make more so if anybody wants one, lmk. Already mades are $10 all February, customs $13, just inbox me.

Hey folks!!!!!! It's been so long! My life has been turned upside down like the fresh prince's but I got some decent news today so I'm sharing with the people who care about me! 😁 I haven't been able to do most of the art I love in over six (6) months. But I can pour and sew and craft again!!!!! So (one of) the first thing(s) I plan on doing is remaking my "the crib" sign. I just have no idea what color(s) to choose! Can y'all help?? Lemme know what color(s) you think it'd look good in and make sure to mention if you mean glitter! 😁😁

These last few months have been a damn whirlwind, folks. I was displaced from my home so I wasn't able to do any art which broke my heart every day. And that's not even getting into what was actually happening behind the scenes 🙄🤦🏾‍♀️ but I'm finally home and I need to make some money and some room for all the new ideas I have.
