I thought it would be fun to try a puzzle with a twist. The photo on the box of this Puzzle Twist is black and white on purpose so it’s difficult to tell what the finished image will be. This one was made with textures of candy pieces which made the sorting, especially the green part, a bit better. I honestly did not figure out what the picture was until I had finished the whole thing. My brain had decided early on it was going to be in a landscape orientation with a tree, but after stepping away it’s clearly a portrait of a Toucan! The “tree” was a wing with a rock candy branch behind it.

I’m looking for a better place to put this plant and decided it would be a good time to start working on a coaster-like item to put under it. This time I’m working from my stash of cotton yarn.

Last night I finished another beautiful shimmery Paperblanks puzzle. This one, called Celestial Magic was easier to put together than Chrysanthemums because of the distinct sections to work on.

The second puzzle from my Puzzle Warehouse haul. I love VanGoghs paintings of sunflowers. It’s one of the reasons I choose this puzzle. The puzzle cut was extremely challenging because the pieces were the same shape and it ended up missing two pieces which is also a bummer. I’m sure I still don’t have all the table pieces in the right place.

The puzzle was tiny for a 1000 piece puzzle but certainly not the smallest jigsaw puzzle ever like it claims.

I was going to start this around Christmas but procrastinated because the baby this is for wasn’t due until Spring break. Well, I didn’t quite finish in time and was trying to get it done ASAP when some awful life things happened. I put it down and couldn’t pick it back up for a while. This week I decided it was time to finish this project and hope I can find an excuse to go up to school and deliver it when their year starts.

I put together the first of the puzzles I purchased at Puzzle Warehouse. I’m fairly sure all the puzzles I bought were different brands. This one is the Teacups puzzle from Cobble Hill.

The warehouse at Puzzle Warehouse was open last weekend for a puzzle competition and shopping. I was really good and only came home with seven new puzzles 🤣

In person, this puzzle of Monet’s Chrysanthemums has quite a lovely shimmer. I believe it’s the first puzzle I’ve finished by Paperblanks and I really enjoyed it.

Fun butterfly shape to work a puzzle in. Didn’t realize when getting started it was just barely going to fit on the table and it was wider than my puzzle mat.
