My focus from the beginning of this endeavor has been to focus my attention on simple forms and natural fibers. I wanted to make clothes and accessories that I would love to wear, that would go with just about everything, and that come from natural sources. I feel like I've accomplished that with the Knit Knot, and I'm excited to bring in a new audience for my craft!

I spent the last couple of days sewing this sweet little dress for my neice’s birthday - she’s obsessed with Pokémon (adorable!) because my son, her older cousin, gave her a few Pokémon cards on thanksgiving (which of course makes my mom heart swoon). She is going to love this, and I’m sure will want to wear it whenever she’s around her older cousin to prove what a super fan she is ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’ve got some news to bring you some sunshine today!!!! I have decided to have a sample sale 🌻🌻🌻 You’ve been asking me what I do with the samples I make when testing a pattern and I’ve decided that I can’t possibly wear all of them, so I’m offering them to you!!! I will be posting them for sale in my Instagram stories at 12pm CST this Friday 1-6 .
Sale details: I will be posting each balaclava separately. Be the first to DM me with “sold” to snag one. Cost will be $50 and includes US shipping. (Sorry international friends; I am open to customs if you reeeallly need one ❤️ just message me). Anything not claimed after 24 hours will go up in my Etsy shop, so make sure to claim one early if you want one!!

Thank you so much to everyone who has sent congratulations, love, bought the pattern, or shared about it - I am beyond thankful for your support ❤️❤️ Here are the balaclavas I made during pattern testing, and they will be up for grabs in an upcoming stories sale - I’m thinking tomorrow at noon cst, but I’ll keep you updated on the details in my stories. I treated myself to the fall issue of to inspire and push me into the new year. I’ve got a lot of new things on the horizon that scare me to my core, so I can use all the inspiration I can get. I feel like I’m jumping into the abyss with my creative work and although I know I’m ready for the challenge, the small voices in the background have been creeping to the front as of late. In the moments when they’re loud, I hear my mantra loud and clear : I CAN DO HARD THINGS!! Cheers to you as you navigate and plan for a new year; may it be one in which you find your strength and your voice within your universe ❤️❤️❤️

The coming soon!!! Omg this one just poured right out of me 🌻 I will need a couple of people to test this for me, so DM me if you’d like to give it a try - I would say it’s an intermediate level crochet pattern but if you’re already familiar with all the elements used to make granny squares, the rest of the techniques should be things you already know how to do or would be an easy google search away. Excited for this one!!!
