THE SHAPE OF 2026 / 09

A BROADER ARCHITECTURAL VOCABULARY.

Halfway through 2026, five new additions are already expanding the ways OCL can respond to architecture.

Printz explores new freedom in form.

Atla establishes continuity across scale.

Kwyet Atla brings acoustic material into orbit around light.

Cirque extends a familiar geometry across more applications.

Mobi builds movement and acoustic comfort into one layered composition.

Each family answers a different design need while contributing to a more versatile portfolio for the work taking shape now.

The shape of 2026, so far. More is still ahead.

Some lighting stories require more than words. Our VP of Sales, Bill Kressler, always understands the assignment.

September is trade show season, and the OCL team is covering some serious ground. Bill, Dan, Maryann, Drake, and Brad will be taking OCL to five shows across five markets:

SEPTEMBER 17
• Light up Your Life! with Salex
• Light+Omaha with Mercer Zimmerman
• ALR Oakland Show

SEPTEMBER 24
• LightMatters with Performance Lighting
• Illuminex with OCS Lighting + Control

We’re bringing new products, bold materials, fresh ideas, and plenty to talk about.

If you’ll be at one of these shows, come find us. We’ll show you what’s new from OCL.

Animated conversations with hand gestures are optional, but always encouraged.

TWO WAYS TO QUIET THE ROOM.

Kwyet Atla and Mobi approach acoustic lighting from two distinct directions.

Kwyet Atla organizes acoustic fins around a luminous globe, with options in profile, fin count, scale, and color.

Mobi creates a broader, bolder radial composition defined by repetition, depth, and visual movement.

Both integrate sound-softening material directly into the luminaire, giving designers a choice between an ordered orbit and a more sculptural rhythm.

Different expressions. Shared acoustic purpose.

MOTION, MADE MATERIAL.

Mobi’s radial fins create a layered silhouette that shifts with viewpoint, giving the pendant a sense of movement from every angle.

The luminous drum holds the composition together while acoustic material adds color, depth, and sound-softening performance. Available in 31-inch, 46-inch, and 63-inch diameters, Mobi can read as a singular sculptural element or a larger architectural presence.

Light at the center. Rhythm in the material around it.

THE SHAPE OF 2026 / 06

FROM STATEMENT TO SYSTEM.

Printz brings sculptural presence to the moments intended to define a space.

Atla creates continuity through scale, repetition, and consistent surface luminance.

Cirque extends a clean circular language across pendant, ceiling, and surface applications.

Mobi add movement, texture, and color with the addition of bold acoustic fins.

Taken together, they show the range of roles lighting can play within the architecture, from establishing identity to carrying visual order and dependable performance throughout the project.

THE SHAPE OF 2026 / 05

THE CLASSIC, BUILT TO DO MORE.

Cirque carries one clear circular language across pendant, ceiling, and surface applications, with direct or direct and indirect illumination and flush, dropped, or regressed lens positions.

The depth of the family gives designers more freedom to respond to the architecture while maintaining continuity throughout the project. Cirque can sit close to the ceiling, extend into the space, brighten the ceiling plane, or deliver focused light below without introducing an unrelated visual vocabulary.

Familiar geometry. Expanded range.

THE SHAPE OF 2026 / 04

QUIETER SPACE, BUILT AROUND LIGHT.

Kwyet Atla starts with Atla’s luminous center and expands outward through acoustic material.

Round and angled fin profiles, three, four, or six fin counts, and more than 20 acoustic colors give designers control over scale, rhythm, texture, and presence while preserving a clear point of light at the core.

Acoustic performance becomes part of the composition from the start. Light, material, color, and sound control work together as one architectural gesture.

THE SHAPE OF 2026 / 03

SEVEN SCALES. ONE LUMINOUS SURFACE.

Atla spans seven diameters, from 6 inches to 22 inches, while maintaining consistent surface luminance across all sizes.

That consistency gives designers room to vary scale, rhythm, and composition without disrupting the visual language of the project.

A smaller globe and a larger architectural cluster still read as part of the same system, with the same balanced glow and refined presence.

From quiet accents to larger shared spaces, Atla creates continuity without requiring every application to look the same.

THE SHAPE OF 2026 / 02

FORM, BUILT DIFFERENTLY.

With Printz, additive manufacturing is more than the method behind the shade. It's the design tool that makes the collection possible.

Ola, Cosma, and Hela each begin with the same disciplined production platform, then move in three distinct directions. Continuous geometry, integrated surface texture, and architectural scale emerge from a process that builds each shade as one uninterrupted form.

Three silhouettes. One materially coherent family.
