Last week, Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery celebrated its Bicentennial with a special ceremony marking the occasion. Irene’s Floral Design was honored to donate the wreath used during this ceremony! Remembering the brave men and women (and their families) who served our country on this special day, and everyday.

We have our first workshops scheduled for our sister business, Bloom Room! Please follow our Bloom Room page for all the latest info!

On August 18, we have a basic floral design workshop. In this class, we'll show you the design tricks to help you create your very own floral arrangements! (Photo shown is NOT the arrangement we will make that evening!) You will have a self-created arrangement to take home with you that same night!

And, on August 31, we will have our first painting workshop, where you'll paint three different Bob Ross landscape images, and turn them into refrigerator magnets!

Bloom Room many workshops scheduled for this fall! Several painting classes and crafts as well as floral design, and we are also working on sourdough starter classes and Mahjongg classes, where you can learn how to play the game and then come back and play with others!

Our very first workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, and is an introductory Floral Design class! In this class, we'll show you how to prep a vase, arrange your greenery, and select just the right blossoms to make a beautiful arrangement. You'll learn skills that will help you design pretty bouquets in the future (even using greenery and flowers from your own yard) and you'll leave at the end of the evening with your very own vase arrangement of flowers that you made! The $75 fee includes all the items you'll need to create the bouquet, including premium flowers such as roses, snapdragons, hydrangeas and more.
