STAR’s Fall Family Forum will be a presentation on what employment can look like for those with ID/D.
We will present an overview of STAR employment services, including job development, job coaching, and classes geared towards getting a job. We will also hear firsthand from an individual who has recently gotten his first job as well as from his mother and her perspective on what this opportunity has meant for her son. Additionally, the young man’s employer will speak and share her experience in supporting him in his employment.

This event is open to all and is appropriate for parents and caregivers, and individuals who want to learn more about the employment process.
