If God has been pulling at your heart to give lately, and you’re a horse lover like myself . Here’s your chance . This is a local and wonderful rescue and they could use some help for Titan ! ❤️🫶🏻 🐴

Titan update. It's not good. 😔
Titan is not progressing. Today is the last day we can be patient and wait on his body to progress before we need to make that decision.

Titan ate a small mash but is wrinkling his nose at food. He did roll several times throughout the night. The surgeon called and we discussed the risks for surgery.

Titans surgery odds are great, hes in good health, body condition is ideal, his age is okay etc. But the recovery period is the risk here - Titan has arthritis and is being treated for it currently. 2,090 pounds is alot of weight to bear and get back up after a colic surgery on inflamed legs.

The surgeon and I agreed to give Titan the day to try and find improvement with more fluids, banamine, walking and light sedative. If he isn't turning around by this evening we need to make the choice.

I don't know what the right answer is yet. Do we ever truly know?

What I do know..
We have raised $2,300 for his bill. This bill is climbing. Surgery for a horse Titans size is going to be larger than $10,000.
He's already racked up around $3,000 right now.

Titan is a fighter. He is the biggest puppy personality. He is a snuggler, a staple mascot around here.

Do we do it? I'm just praying so hard his body cooperates today.

Edit to add *** Kelsey has had a horse go through colic surgery before and he is alive and well to this day. He was even 22 when he had the surgery!
