So this client had 3 different “plumbers” try to locate the cause of what is very clearly an active water leak somewhere in her kitchen. That leak has caused and would continue to cause massive damage to the subfloor and eventually the framing under her kitchen. And yet it took nearly two years and the furthest thing from an actual plumber (me) to finally locate and repair the leak. Plumbing is one of those trades I try to avoid as much as possible. I don’t like doing it, I’m not equipped to do it and I’m not very good at doing it. And yet between me and 3 licensed plumbers, I was able to solve a problem that has been plaguing my client for years now while they all claimed there wasn’t anything to fix in spite of the obvious evidence to the contrary. This experience has proven to me that I offer my clients something that is apparently increasingly rare nowadays: hard work and determination. Im gonna get the job done no matter what because I refuse to leave a person with this kind of problem on their hands. These two traits can be far more valuable than all the experience or trade mastery in the world.
