Close your eyes for a moment...
The air is cool and damp.
Somewhere in the darkness, water gently moves against old wooden pilings. The boards beneath your feet are weathered and worn smooth from years of salt air and passing footsteps.
Ahead, a narrow dock disappears into the fog.
An old lantern flickers beside you, casting pools of golden light across the wet timber. In the distance, you can just make out the silhouettes of tall masts against the moonlit sky.
You take another step. There's something in the air...
The sweetness of dark plum and black cherry. A trace of warm cinnamon and clove. Cool storm air rolling in from the water. Then something deeper begins to emerge.
Damp timber. Dark amber. A wisp of smoke. Weathered woods.
