Dan W Petersen is a native of Denmark and has always had an interest in creative wood design.

With a background in auto mechanics and working experience in window and door manufacturing from an early age, Dan approaches each project with the eye of an engineer. In 2000, Dan began the challenge of learning the art and science of formulating finish coatings while working with a large, internati

onally known manufacturer. In an effort to gain control of his creative time, Dan started Heritage Wood Finish in 2014.

“In order to push myself, I always try to design something that is extremely difficult and then challenge myself with finding the solutions that will make it come to life. I make every effort to stretch the limitations of what can be done with a natural product like wood. My greatest joy is to see client’s awe when we deliver a project”

Just finished installing the first out of two signs, for the beautifully, historic Town Of .

I am very humbled, and very honored that I was allowed to be part of this.

Pictures are before, and after.

New sign is made out of old growth river-recovered "Sinker" , and of course finished with our go to finish exterior oil.

Huge shoutout to for the referral, and the Town Of especially (town administrator).
