Forged beneath the moss-draped oaks of the Lowcountry, The Gas Lantern Original Cauldron Crew is a sisterhood of magical souls bound by rhythm, revelry, and community. Spanning the shadowy, spellbinding stretch from Port Royal down to Savannah, our coven gathered its first circle in August 2024—bringing together dancers, craftswomen, and kin under a shared, witchy passion.
The Sisterhood & The Magic
More than a performance troupe, the Crew is a sanctuary of encouragement and shared power. We move as one, draped in deep purples, fiery oranges, and midnight blacks—adorned with velvet, pointed hats, crystal charms, and trusty brooms. Bound by a strong spirit of togetherness, every practice at Naval Heritage Park is as much about lifting each other up and celebrating each sister’s unique spark as it is about mastering the movement.
Dancing in the Shadows & Light
When the gas lanterns flicker and the cauldron brews, our dance takes center stage across the region:
Festival Spellcasting: Stirring up enchantment on festival stages, from regional gatherings to the mystical Brooklet Fantasy and Folklore Festival at Hunter Cattle Company.
Craft & Cackle: Sharing our magic through hands-on gatherings, like broom-making circles at seasonal festivals and open community meetups.
Charitable Circle Work: Channeling our collective energy into genuine good. We weave protection and care into our local community through supply drives for Her Village, raffle baskets, and fundraising for the Haunted Hallows Free Family Halloween Festival.
Gathering the Coven
Whether brewing up competitive spirit for the Haunted Hallows Witch Dance Competition in Port Royal or simply sharing a laugh under the spanish moss, the Cauldron Crew stands as proof of what happens when sisters join hands, step into their power, and dance to their own wild rhythm.
