When you bought Pinkie and Blue Boy because they remind you of your Memaw, but Blue Boy is a little creepy😳😱 We’ll just call this my version of Halloween decor🤷‍♀️😉❤️

I almost passed on this antique piece because it was about an hour away, and it was missing the lid. I had been wanting an old Chinese Double Happiness jar, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how much I loved how the years had aged this one to stained and faded perfection😉. I’ve already found several ways to use it despite the fact that it’s missing the lid!

Which spot if your favorite??👇

I’ve been wanting to add something zebra patterned to my living room, and when I saw this chair come across my marketplace feed, I knew it was it! I love that it’s a tan/black combo vs a black/white. It feels like a nice way to transition into such a bold pattern!🦓❤️

One of my dining chairs got broken in an accident😕. I had purchased them from marketplace for a great deal last year, and it was going to cost more than I was willing to pay to purchase a replacement, as they are sold in a set of 2.

I found these identical mid-century styled chairs by Colamy, and the price for a complete set was much less than the cost of 2 of my current chairs, so I decided to purchase them instead.

Let me tell you, I was so nervous about this purchase! I loved my current chairs, and I knew I was going to be heartbroken if these didn’t turn out the way I hoped.

I can now say that I am so happy with these chairs! My husband put them together, and he said he feels they are better quality than my more expensive chairs, and they are more comfortable to sit in as well! I wanted to share them with you guys in the event you are looking for new dining room chairs. . . these are beautiful and a great value!

It’s a long story, but we ended up staying at a less than desirable hotel for a few nights this past weekend. Thankfully, we were not in our room much, but let me tell you. . . it only takes a little time in an uncomfortable situation to appreciate the small things that make home your safe haven❤️

My heart if full from a month full of filling up my cup with people and places that I love, and having a peaceful home to come back to❤️

It was time for a new Dutch oven, as we were a little rough on our 20 year old Lodge, as you can see😅

I love the thyme colored Le Creuset, but was having a hard time justifying the cost. When I was in TJ Maxx the other day, I found this gorgeous thyme green colored one and immediately fell in love!

My dutch oven lives on my stovetop year round, so I really wanted something that performed well and was beautiful, and this fit the bill! TJ Maxx had at least 4 beautiful fall colored Lodge Cast Iron Dutch ovens if you are in the market for one!

It’s the romance for me. 🍂
The candlelight, the old wood, the faded florals, and all the little touches that make a home feel especially good in fall.
