I was honored to be asked to commemorate not only Alexandra’s gorgeous wedding day but also create something to serve as a reminder of how she and Josh’s friendship took root in high school and continued to grow and blossom into adulthood.

I had the great fun of teaching Catie *and* her three siblings as well so my heart just about burst when she asked me to create these for her. As a teacher, it means so much to know that relationships built can carry on well past the time people are in your classroom. ☺️

My school recently held its graduation ceremony, which is always bittersweet because as a teacher, it’s exciting to see students move into their next chapter but it’s also hard not knowing when you’ll get to see them again. 🥹

So it was really meaningful for a former student to reach out for a custom doll set to celebrate his dear friend’s milestone birthday! (Don’t ask the number because I don’t want that math being connected back to me! 👵🏻😂)

He wanted one to represent the shared passion they have for their careers as flight attendants and the other to be modeled from her special birthday dress. ✈️💜

These were not only so fun to create but also such a special way to connect back with him through art!
