Hey all! I’ve made it to the voting round in Best of Iredell thanks to you! I greatly appreciate the nominations! I’m honored to be placed into this competition, not just because I have a true love of art, but also because Iredell County is my lifelong home. It means so much more to be selected by people in my own community. Again, I thank you!!

A little delayed in posting, but I finished up this fun ocean mural for a sweet little girl this week.
I love her choices of sea creatures to include in the piece! She also chose Philippians 2:14-16 to be painted in the sand near the water. Such a cute piece for a lovely girl and her family!

Now it’s time to start a large, 3-wall exterior mural in Mooresville! Half of my paint has been delivered from NY and the rest should be here this week. Approvals are all in place and I’m ready to go! It’s gonna be a busy summer! 🎨

The school year is coming to an end, so that means mural season is in full swing! I started this interior mural for a sweet little girl yesterday and made a bunch of progress. I’ll finish it this week. Then it’s finishing up renderings for upcoming murals and starting a big job in Mooresville! And art camp in Troutman starts soon! Whew! This summer is gonna fly by!

How ironic that I finished “Polka Dot Promises” a year ago today-and today is National Free Comic Book Day! This piece was inspired by old 1960s romance comics. The artwork in them is just so fun. I love everything vintage!
