If you're looking for something fun to do tomorrow, come see us at Dublin Market Days!

We'll have a variety of handmade wreaths, home décor, seasonal pieces, and one-of-a-kind creations available at our booth.

One of my favorite things about market days is getting to visit with people face-to-face, hear their decorating ideas, and help them find something special for their home.

This little frog planter has been around for a very long time.

I received it as a child in a floral arrangement, and somehow it survived all these years. After my mom passed away last September, I came across it again while going through some of her things.

The moment I saw it, I knew I couldn't let it sit in a box.

So I gave it a new purpose.

What I love most about handmade decorating isn't just creating something new. Sometimes it's taking something with a story, a memory, or a connection to someone special and giving it new life.

Now every time I see this little frog, I'm reminded that some things are worth holding onto. 🐸💚

Some wreaths are made to blend in.

This one wasn't.

The blue-and-white chinoiserie details, layered florals, and bold welcome sign were designed for someone who wants their front door to feel just as put together as the rest of their home.

Whether guests arrive through the front door or you're simply pulling into the driveway after a long day, there's something nice about being welcomed home by a space that feels finished.

This one is currently available and ready for a new front door. 💙

Every shop needs a supervisor.

Ours prefers to spend her day stretched out in the doorway of Don's shop next to her favorite green Christmas water bowl.

The funny part is that bowl stays out year-round. It doesn't matter if it's June or December.

And because she's a little spoiled, Don puts a bottle of water in the refrigerator every night so she can have fresh cold water during the day.

We have other water bowls.

We have newer water bowls.

We even have prettier water bowls.

Hazel has made it very clear that none of those compare to her green Christmas bowl.

Some things just become tradition. 🐾💚

Sometimes all it takes is one small change to make a space feel different.

Last Friday afternoon I was staring at a shop vac box full of Tupperware that had belonged to my mom.

It had been sitting in my entryway long enough that I was tired of walking around it.

So I finally decided it was time.

What started as a box full of random containers turned into an afternoon of sorting, matching lids, deciding what to keep, and figuring out what could be used at my booth at 377 Marketplace.

Sometimes the hardest part of a project is simply getting started.

Now the keepers are organized, a few pieces are headed to the booth, and one more thing has been checked off the list.

Funny how something that starts as "I really don't want to do this" can end with "I'm glad I finally did."

Anybody else have a project sitting around the house that they've been avoiding? 😄

One ribbon loop at a time.

That's how most projects come together around here.

What starts as a simple idea slowly begins to take shape until suddenly you can see the finished vision coming together.

This summer project definitely kept me guessing along the way, but I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. 🍋

Sometimes the best part of creating is watching the transformation happen.
