I did a small trial of calla lilies this year for my July and September brides. Today, I’m seeing the first blooms as my July bride toured the farm and had her final meeting. I’m so excited to grow these as they are so expensive to buy.

Tomorrow we open at 6:30am bright and early before the heat kicks in! Come get your graduation bouquets! Plainfield and Killingly High school graduations tomorrow! This will be the last weekend for our ranunculus so come get them while you can! Campanula is owning the spotlight this week. Every bouquet has a peony too!

Campanula is starting to pop off here in Sterling! Snapdragons are starting to bloom and one of my favorite early summer flowers- feverfew! Lots of planting and weeding accomplished this weekend. One more bed of dahlias to plant for fall weddings, slowing catching up!
