Want your grocery store flowers to look designer-styled? 🌿

Skip the pre-made bouquet and pick up a few bunches of the same flower instead. Arranging a single variety together creates a fuller, more intentional look that always feels elevated.

Then give them a home that’s just as beautiful. I rarely use a basic clear glass vase. Instead, I grab interesting vessels whenever I come across them- vintage finds, handmade ceramics, stoneware, little urns…anything with a bit of character.

The flowers may only last a week, but a great vessel becomes part of your home. It’s one of my favorite ways to make even the simplest grocery store blooms feel like a designer arrangement.

People often ask if we have a signature style. The answer is no… unless you consider good design a signature style. 😉

Every bedroom in this carousel came from our studio, yet not one of them looks quite like the next- and that’s on purpose.

We’ve never believed our job is to recreate the same room over and over again or leave our personal aesthetic stamp on every project. Our role is to understand the people who live there and create spaces that feel like an elevated extension of them. Get them to a place that they couldn’t on their own.

Some peoole want a bedroom that feels calm and restorative. Others want color, personality, and a little drama. Some are drawn to the feeling of a boutique hotel, while others want a cozy retreat full of cherished collectibles that helps them shut out the world at the end of a long day.

Of the few we posted which feels more like you? Or maybe none of them do. After all, the best bedrooms to wake up in are the ones designed around the people who live in them, and we haven’t designed yours yet.

Bringing someone onto our team isn’t just filling a position. It’s inviting someone into our clients’ homes, trusting them to represent our business, and asking them to become part of our intimate little work family. We don’t make these decisions quickly.

Over the past year and a half, our team has evolved, and rather than rushing to hire, we took the opportunity to step back and get really clear on who we are, how we work best, and the kind of experience we want our clients to have from our highly-personalized boutique firm. Then we started looking for the right person.

Annnnd- I’m so excited to introduce you all to our newest team member Jessica.

Over the last several weeks, she’s been jumping into project sites, contractor walkthroughs, planning meetings, schedules, and all the behind-the-scenes logistics that keep our projects moving. She’s thoughtful, organized, calm under pressure, and most importantly has the best can-do positive attitude .

Many of you will be getting to know her over the coming months, and Emilie and I couldn’t be happier to have her as part of the EBI team. Welcome, Jess. 🤍

Hope your Sunday is as peaceful as this LR transformation. ✨

This project wasn’t about filling every corner or packing in too many layers. It was about creating a calm, minimal foundation through architectural details, lighting, texture, and carefully scaled furnishings.

We intentionally left space for the homeowners to start their own collection of art and meaningful objects that will be collected over time.

Not every project is completely photo-ready the day we walk out the door. Some homes evolve slowly, becoming more personal and layered with each piece collected along the way.
