Its been a while since I introduced myself! So for all the newbies, hello!
Hiiiii, My name is Sollita! Im owner/operator/maker of Division+Brawley. I started this little business back in 2019. I pivoted with Covid, as did everyone else. And with that came evolution. Slowly making changes. Eventually we opened up shop in Artist&Fare. Sadly, due to promises not being kept, we just couldn't sustain ourselves there anymore. So after just two and a half years, I made the decision to close the doors. But, unlike SO MANY other small businesses, I only closed the brick+mortar and remained in business. And thats only happened because of my loyal customers that turned friends. Our candles are now in local businesses AND a self-serve stand at 1508 Division street at the top of our driveway, open sun-up to sun-down.
Outside of business, which is hard because D+B is literally home (this business is named after our homes intersecting streets), Im a mama and wife. I also struggle with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Which is a big reason why this business is so important to me.
My husband, and co-owner, Nick and I have been married twenty years and we have three amazing daughters, Kiara, Alexa, and Melydi.
We have three beautiful fur babies, all boys, all huskies. They look like the husky printer ran out of ink. Yukon is black and white with brown eyes, Tyson is brown and white with blue eyes, and Koda is all white with both brown and blue eyes.
Things that I love (aside from my family) are candles, coffee, a clean house, books, music, the farmers market, twinkle lights, flowers, decorating and event planning, and an ice cold glass of D'asti *insert cute "ding" sound*✨️ Basically all things pretty and cozy
Now, Im making my community comeback! I cant wait to host to my NEW Market, "My Kind of Bar!" right here at D+B! And guess what!?? YOURE INVITED! Yes, you! The 3rd Friday of August, September, and October from 5p-830p. Check out the event on FB!
