Finished up another clock today. I intended to make this from cedar but didn't have the wood is needed so made it from Ambrosia Maple. Its roughly a 11" diameter like my last clock also with a quartz mechanism for my mom to hang up out Graham Farm and Nature Center where she works. I'll make another one later on from some Cedar logs from the farm once I get time to saw some up into boards where I can make a clock. The pictures show my computer design in Vcarve Pro to the bare wood clock assembled to the last pictures of it completely finished with oil based poly on it and ready to hang up and use.

From a idea, to a computer drawing, to reality.

I helped my dad make a clock a few weeks back and decided to make a clock for myself. It's roughly 11 inch diameter with my logo and my attempt at trying to paint something. I made it from Ambrosia Maple and it has a USA made quartz clock mechanism. It's been work in progress for a few weeks but between working so much overtime at work and Union business trips progress in the woodworking shop have been slow, but I finally finished my clock and I'm happy with how it turned out.

Sorry for the lack of posting it's been very busy with work and union stuff. Here's some computer pictures of stuff I been working on. Cutting board should be done tomorrow clock I'm waiting on my clock mechanism and clock hands to finish it up so stay tuned I can hopefully post them later this week

Let us not forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Life's been crazy lately. I've been working a ton of overtime and haven't been in my shop to make anything but I did make these 2 cups Thursday after work and maybe I can make it out my shop this weekend. I have a cutting board and several other things I need to make.
